The Regional Academies of Sport Ltd (RAS Ltd), the parent company of the Hunter Academy of Sport (HAS) and Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS), is proud to announce the renewal of its valued partnership with Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) for a further 3 years. This continued collaboration reaffirms a shared commitment to supporting the development of young athletes across the Hunter and Central Coast regions and strengthening community ties through sport.

SCA, home to Triple M and Hit, has been a key supporter of the Academy’s mission to nurture emerging talent and promote sporting excellence. The renewed agreement will see SCA continue to provide vital media exposure, promotional support and community engagement opportunities for HAS and CCAS programs and athletes.

Mike Crowhurst, General Manager of SCA, expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership:
“Triple M and Hit are proud to be extending our partnership with such a valued local organisation that is the Regional Academies of Sport Ltd. Collaborations like this make a real difference in our community.”

The partnership will continue to deliver a range of initiatives, including exclusive media coverage of Academy events, athlete storytelling and joint community outreach programs. These efforts aim to elevate the profile of local athletes and inspire the next generation of sporting talent.

Brett O’Farrell, Chief Executive Officer of RAS Ltd, welcomed the renewed agreement, stating:
“We’re excited to continue working alongside Southern Cross Austereo. Their support plays a crucial role in amplifying the achievements of our athletes and connecting our programs with the wider community.”

RAS Ltd remains dedicated to providing a holistic development environment for athletes, encompassing training, education, wellbeing and career support. With SCA’s continued backing, the Academies are well-positioned to expand its impact and reach even greater heights in 2025.
