Academies Partner with Magenta Shores Golf and Country Club

The Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS) and Hunter Academy of Sport (HAS) are excited to announce an exciting new partnership with Magenta Shores Golf and Country Club, marking the club an official sponsor for the next three years of the CCAS and HAS Golf Programs.

The CCAS and HAS Golf Programs have a shared mission to nurture and cultivate the potential of promising young golfers, propelling them forward in their golfing journey.  These academies serve as a crucial link in the Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) athlete pathway, where they identify, monitor, and hone the talents of talented young male and female golfers hailing from the Central Coast and Hunter Regions.

As a sponsor of the Golf Programs and the official host on the Central Coast, Magenta Shores Golf and Country Club will grant athletes in the 2023/2024, 2024/2025, and 2025/2026 program intakes exclusive access to their practice and short-course facility and invitations to Magenta Shores events. Magenta Shores will also provide an agreed number of complimentary golf memberships for selected athletes on an annual basis.

The following athletes will benefit from this partnership in the 2023/2024 season; Alex Hughes, Ava Prince, Blake Cranston, Brant Howell, Bryan McCann, Ngalan Ah-see, Ryan Carrigan, Shaylan Bennett, Skye Nolan (CCAS) and Cooper Ridgeway, Elie Peattie, Lachlan Lawson, Lachlan McDonald, London McPaul, Oliver Partridge, Oliver Thomas, Rohan Dormor, Rory Falk, William Martin (HAS).

The coaching for the CCAS and HAS Golf Programs will continue to be led by Mark Ingrey and Gavin Sutherland.
