The Hunter Academy of Sport Cycling squad has been hard at work this past month, securing podium finishes across multiple races at Sydney’s Dunc Gray Velodrome, Clarence Street Cup and NSW State Elimination Championships.

Noah Mason placed 2nd in the NSW Under 15 State Elimination Championship, with the last placing cyclist from each lap eliminated until the last man standing is the victor.

At the Under 15 Clarence St Cyclery Cup, HAS cyclists Matthew Drohan placed 1st, Jake Paitl 2nd and Noam Mason 4th – a tremendous effort for three Regional athletes competing against their metropolitan counterparts from across the state.  At the same event, Under 15 Female HAS cyclists Hayley Dell finished in 5th place, with Caitlin Rose in 12th closely followed by Emily Drohan in 13th. In the Under 19 race Alex Cross sped across the finish line to finish in 9th place.
